Life cover

An insurance that pays out a sum of money on the death of the insured person

Critical illness cover

An insurance product in which the insurer is contracted to typically make a lump sum cash payment if the policyholder is diagnosed with one of the specific illnesses on a predetermined list. 

Income protection

Paying benefits to policyholders who are incapacitated and hence unable to work due to illness or accident with the possibility of adding unemployment cover.

Buildings and contents

Insures your property and contents. Also called home insurance. These tend to have add ons like ‘extended’ accidental cover, legal cover, home emergency cover and personal possessions cover away from the home.
